It goes without saying that 2020 has been one of the most ridiculous years we have ever been through as a community and a nation. We've faced unimaginable challenges and the livelihood of our local businesses and community have been hit hard in the wake of COVID19. Between new regulations that hit the press daily to national shortages of items we once took for granted like toilet paper, the only thing to expect is the unexpected. Things like "maskne" exist, and if any of us have to hear the word "pivot" one more time we might just lose it.

I've grown up and spent most of my years in (or is it on? cue the great debate) Long Island, and have been trying to find ways to support this place that I've called home and the people that I call my neighbors over the past few months.

We've all heard the term "shop local" more times than we can count. Yet, there are so many awesome and innovative businesses that fall under the radar, and Amazon's 2-day shipping can be hard to resist.

Enter Living LocalLI. Here at gpalcreative, this is our way to give back to the community that raised us. Living LocalLI will showcase our local businesses and make it easy for future customers to find the businesses they need. You've made it this far through my love letter to Long Island, so keep reading down this page for the important info.
